Salisbury make the trip to Twerton Park on Tuesday evening to face Bath City in their first ever league meeting.
It is, however, the second time that the two sides have met this year. Bath knocked Salisbury out of the FA Cup when Alex Fisher’s injury-time winner ended the Whites’ cup run.
Since that match in September, Bath have only won one match in the league, a 1-0 away win at Chesham at the start of October. They have since let manager Jerry Gill go. Goal-keeping coach Lee Kendall and some senior players have been in charge of first-team affairs since.
Since Gill’s departure, 10-men Bath were denied by a last-gasp Maidstone United equaliser in a 3-3 draw before losing by a single goal against Eastbourne Borough at the weekend.
Another late goal denied Bath a point, conceding the game’s only goal in the fifth minute of additional time at the end of the 90 as George Alexander broke the Romans’ resolve.
On the other hand, Salisbury haven’t played for over a week after referee Adam Merchant decided the pitch was unplayable just over an hour before kick-off on Saturday, much to the frustration of both teams’ staff and players.
Last time out, Salisbury beat Farnborough in the FA Trophy. The win lifted the mood in the camp after a tricky run of games that left Brian Dutton’s side without a win six in the league.
Goals from Noah Coppin (2) and Callum Watts left the visitors stunned and their manager Spencer Day in a foul mood as Salisbury hit three quick-fire goals in a 12-minute spell that Farnborough failed to cope with.
Salisbury FC Supporters Club have had to cancel the coach to Bath after a lack of sign-ups.

Bus
The Number 5 bus runs from the City Centre to Twerton Park every 12 minutes. Catch the bus from the bus station in Dorchester Street, adjacent to Bath Spa station.
Bike / Walk
The ground is very close to the Linear pathway exit at Bellots Road. The pathway forms a section of the Two Tunnels Greenway, a four-mile stretch of disused railway line that offers cycling access in both directions – West towards Bristol and East towards Moorfields, Bloomfield, Bear Flat and beyond. Bike stands are provided on the left-hand side of the ground by the turnstiles.
Car
There is free parking at Curo which is a five minute walk to the ground. Please note that Curo is not available for some matches. These will be announced via social media. Please avoid parking on neighbouring streets as the residents need parking and access to their homes.

DIRECTIONS
FROM M4 or EAST
Exit M4 at junction 18. Follow the A46 and then pick up the A4 into Bath. (From the East follow the A4 into Bath) The A4 will take you around the southern perimeter of the city for 3 miles, onto the A36 Lower Bristol Road. After passing Bathwick Tyres, turn left through the railway arch (11ft 6in height restriction*) into Twerton. Twerton Park is 200 yards on the left after the row of shops, with Morrisons Daily on the corner.
FROM THE SOUTH (via A36 or A367)
Enter Bath on either the A36 (from Frome direction) or the A367 (from Radstock direction) onto the Lower Bristol Road. After passing Bathwick Tyres, turn left through the railway arch (11ft 6in height restriction*) into Twerton. Twerton Park is 200 yards on the left after the row of shops, with Morrisons Daily on the corner.
FROM THE WEST (via A4 and A39)
Follow the A4 from the Bristol direction to the Globe roundabout (intersection with A39). Proceed along the dual carriageway, then continue onto the A36 Lower Bristol Road into Twerton. At the first traffic lights turn right through the railway arch (11ft 6in height restriction*) into Twerton. Twerton Park is 200 yards on the left after the row of shops, with Morrisons Daily on the corner.
*For drivers unable to negotiate the railway arch, continue along the A4 for a further 2 miles (from East/South directions). Take the 1st exit off the Globe roundabout, follow for 1 mile, take the left turn signposted Twerton (Newton Road). Follow this road for 1 mile to enter Twerton. Entrance to the stadium is on the right, via the access road next to Morrisons Daily.
